TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL

Deuteronomy 31:10, 11 – And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, when all Israel is come to appear before the Lord they God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
Thought: God wanted His law to abide with His people. Putting the Law of Moses into a written form would preserve it. Too, it was entrusted into the hands of those whose task it was to minister unto the things of the tabernacle. These were the priests the sons of Levi. These men would seek to preserve the law. This preservation would involve the protection of the actual written covenant. Too, they would proclaim the law and ensure Israel practiced it.
